Anyone who comments on current affairs on-line risks being smeared by attack sites and/or abusive Tweets. This is particularly so if one chooses to challenge dishonesty or other kinds of reprehensible behaviour.
As a result of making a stand in a few particular instances, I have become the focus of a number of such attacks. Those who have targeted me include: a Nigerian evangelist who believes in “child witches”; former activists with the EDL; a man with a long history of bad debt and grandiosity; a sockpuppeting tabloid journalist; and a self-serving “celebrity” MP who deploys smears to discourage scrutiny.
The bad faith of such sites and Tweets ought to be self-evident. However, any readers interested in the true background can read this and this.

As one who knows you, level headed – yes, left wing – yes (your politics don’t tally with mine but that’s not a bad thing), liberal – yes (is that an insult?), beer guzzling – never! You always drink wine when I’m around!
Anyway, I don’t always agree with you but you must be doing something right if you get up these people’s noses.

[…] are entering Hell.” That’s typical “street-preacher” fare anywhere (see here), although the grim emphasis on hellfire is somewhat at odds with the Ark of Hope’s more […]
HEAVEN or HELL.
As a Christian I do believe there is only one of two
places we can end up for all eternity – Heaven or Hell . Jesus himself gave us this message. So most street preachers are genuinely trying to save you from eternal damnation.
So if someone is trying to save you from the Wrath of God you should welcome him.
Google up “23 minutes in Hell” terrified the life out of me.
In Hell you are straight into the torture chambers
for all eternity. It is like the selfish rich man – he wanted
a drop of water from Abraham’s finger – no water – no plant life – everlasting fire – worms that infest your body.
So the steet preachers are saying nothing wrong.
What about Jesus’s warning to the people who thought
they were Christians ” Depart from me you cursed into
the eternal fire prepared for the Devil and his Angels”
” Where the worm never dies ”
However as far as we can see from the gospels it was
done through love and miracles to the Pagans who had little knowledge of God .
But to those who knew the Bible ( the Jews) seventy street preachers were sent out and were told to shake
the dust off their feet in towns that did not accept the gospel.
Jesus said in the day of Judgement Sodom and Gomorrah would suffer less than these unbelieving
towns.
Thank the Lord that it is based on belief and not what
I have done – eg I was an even worse beer guzzling
sinner than Richard
YOU ARE WISE
