EDL Jewish Division Promotes “Satan’s Face in Dome of the Rock” Claim

Here’s an interesting one:

l blogged on the EDL “Jewish Division” here.

The video has not been created by the EDL – it’s actually been on the internet for several years, and it explains how Michael Cravatt, a “retired engineer and a devout Christian” spotted the image while on a visit to Jerusalem. The video goes on to explain that he found the same picture on a website, although he couldn’t find any information about it.

One American Christian blogger visited the same site last year, and his guide (unspecified whether Israeli or American) drew attention to the feature. He tells us that:

…It was clear that our tour guide deeply resents this entire thing. The Jews discount the Muslim story [of the Night Journey] as a blatant attempt to intrude upon their holy site with the goal of simply being a thorn in their collective side.

…One other interesting thing was that there were natural markings in the marble from which the Dome of the Rock itself was built… Our tour guide sees a demon and pointed it out to us. I guess a bunch of others do to. You be the judge.

Actually, I see Z from Antz.

Meanwhile, this site claims to have found a second demonic image:

It does not look as devilish as the first image, but it looks evil too. Perhaps this one symbolises the beast or the false prophet spoken of in Revelation 20:10. Or, both images can represent the beast and the false prophet respectively.

Incidentally, whoever made the video appears not to know the difference between the dome on the Holy Sepulchre and the Dome of the Rock, or that when Jerusalem came under Christian control the Temple Mount area was not actually considered sacred. Instead, it was left desolate as a sign of God’s curse, and Jerome described it as being a “dungheap”.

Back in September, the Sun reported that a family in Budapest was “terrified” after “an image of Satan appeared overnight — in a bath tile”.

  1. Looks like the emblem of the band Disturbed to me.

Allah is a fan of middle of road American Metal.

    Who knew?

    • Durante una ricerca per la mia tesi di laurea ho scattato delle foto all’interno di una moschea ad Hamah in Siria. Su una colonna è rimasta impressa nella foto un’immagine simile a questa

  2. The Bible says Jesus was crucified near the place of the skull – which can be clearly seen to this day.
Jerusalem was to be trodden by the Gentiles but the Bible says that this will come to en end.
We have to leave it up to God’s will.

  3. Jesus face in cheese toast, Mary’s image in a fence-post and now Satan’s in blotches on stone. People see weird things. No biggie.

  4. Z from Antz?

No – I think it is the face of the Martian grasshoppers and the alien life-force/demon in the 1960s movie “Quatermass and the Pit”.

I am sure if archaeologists dig deep enough under the Dome of the Rock, they will find a blue fibreglass model of a spaceship….

  5. This is nothing. Qaradawi’s Islamonline posted an article claiming that the shahada could be seen in a slice of tomato.

Tjhen there was the affair with allah being seen in the nike logo.

Then there was the allah thing on the wraping of an ice cream cone.

And if there actually is a satan, he is most certasinly Allah.

  6. I see June is still posting rambles on here. After being schooled by people 3 times younger than her. I guess this is the curse of Islamophobes and racists: the inability to feel any shame or remorse and back down.

  7. Wow E.J – what have you got against June?

And on the subject of “Islamophobes” being painted the same as “racists” (though Islam is an ideology and not a race), I wonder how you feel about the numerous instances of those on the left who talk of negatively and disparagingly of “Zionists” ?

Howcome, for so many leftists in the UK, anti-Semitism (dressed up as “anti-Zionism”) is acceptable, while criticism of Islam (a religion founded with violence and whose holy book enjoins people to have sex with female war captives) is seen as some sort of monstrous “thought-crime”?

    • “And on the subject of “Islamophobes” being painted the same as “racists” (though Islam is an ideology and not a race)”

Throughout her posts on here, June has made racist remarks regarding Arabs. Read through her posts. She has used racist arguments to portray Arabs as inferior, backwards people. She then mixes this with Islam when is talking about brown people in the Western world. That is why I call her out.

“I wonder how you feel about the numerous instances of those on the left who talk of negatively and disparagingly of “Zionists” ?

Howcome, for so many leftists in the UK, anti-Semitism (dressed up as “anti-Zionism”) is acceptable”

Zionism, in short, is an idealogy that says that Jews need to be returned to the Holy Land so they can be bombed and killed and massacred by a group of countries so that Jesus can return and kill all non-Christians. Christians are the foremost Zionist group in the world. A disgusting idealogy in itself, but no one would care what someone thought unless there was a country that repeatedly since its creation committed war crimes and breaches of Human Rights and still claimed to be some sort of moral bastion in the Middle East and whose clai of existence was based on this idealogy.

Israel’s policies are fair game. It is a country which has an extremely destablizing effect in the entire region and who bullies other countries. To counter the arguments against Israel the only way they can, Zionists defer to the anti-Semitism argument, because the other arguments have been shown to be false. Anti-Zionists don’t care about Judaism. We don’t want Jews or Judaism to die, be killed or change or whatever. We want Israel to stop acting like South Africa and we want the world to stop funding Israel’s bombing and killing campaigns with our taxes.

“while criticism of Islam (a religion founded with violence and whose holy book enjoins people to have sex with female war captives) is seen as some sort of monstrous “thought-crime”?”

Islam was not founded in violence. Some years after the revelations started, the violence against Islam started. The meccans and their allies tried on numerous occasions to commit genocide and kill every single Muslim. Would you that the Muslims had not defended themselves? Because that is what happened.

As for female captives: nothing in the Quran says that. There is a Hadith that is regularly used by Islamophobes to somehow prove this point and even that is an extremely vague Hadith. However, Islamophobes never show us any Hadith relating to Hiraba, because that would destroy this argument. Funny how that works, huh.

Criticising Islam is not a thought crime. But these hooligans, racists and Islamophobes rampaging on the streets are not criticising, they are regurgitating Islamophob ic arguments going back to the Middle Ages. They even use slogans and symbols from the Crusades. I wonder if they know who te first victims of the Crusades were?

Anyway, the reason these people must be exposed for the rambling scum that they are is because they do not make the distinction that they claim between a normal Muslim and a criminal Muslim. They lump them all together. Indeed, check out the EDL forum. When a member brings up this point of generalization and says he is leaving, he is disparaged for it. They have only 1 goal: extinguish Islam or kill Muslims…and their children, as a foremost Islamophobe recently put it.

      • The Arabs began the Israeli-Arab conflict and Israel has had to fight for her survival for over 60 years. As for ‘war crimes’ this is socialist lies. And yes it’s anti Semitism. And let’s not forget, socialist ‘progressives,’ fascists, killed scores of millions in the 20th century, including 6 million Jews. And that is the reason the Left love Islam, and denounce those who object to Islamic slaughter as ‘Islamophobes’. But this is good, because this time the Left will not survive its genocidal tendencies again.

“The representative of the Jewish Agency told us yesterday that they were not the attackers, that the Arabs had begun the fighting. We did not deny this. We told the whole world that we were going to fight” Jamal Husseini to the Security Council, April 16, 1948

The Jewish State in Palestine was born on May 14 as the British finally left the country. Five Arab armies (Egypt, Syria, Transjordan, Lebanon and Iraq) immediately invaded Israel. Their intentions were declared by Azzam Pasha, Secretary-General of the Arab League: “This will be a war of EXTERMINATION and a momentous MASSACRE which will be spoken of like the Mongolian massacres and the Crusades”.

The extermination of the Jews in Israel is and has always been the openly stated goal of the Arabs, and the so-called ‘Palestinians’. In supporting them, the Left is merely being true to form.

In 1977, Zahir Muhsein, of the PLO ledership, the leader of the al-Sa’iqa Organisation, revealed in an interview to the Dutch newspaper Trouw:

“The Palestinian people does not exist. The creation of a Palestinian state is only a means for continuing our struggle against the state of Israel for our Arab unity. In reality today there is no difference between Jordanians, Palestinians, Syrians and Lebanese. Only for political and tactical reasons do we speak today about the existence of a Palestinian people, since Arab national interests demand that we posit the existence of a distinct ‘Palestinian people’ to oppose Zionism for tactical reasons, Jordan, which is a sovereign state with defined borders, cannot raise claims to Haifa and Jaffa. While as a Palestinian, I can undoubtedly demand Haifa, Jaffa, Beer-Sheva and Jerusalem. However, the moment we reclaim our right to all of Palestine, we will not wait even a minute to unite Palestine and Jordan.”

In 1974, the late Syrian President, Hafez al-Assad, declared: “It would be fitting for us to mention to the responsible Israeli authorities that we view Palestine not just as an inseparable part of the Arab nation, but as a part of Southern Syria.” In 1987, he reiterated himself at a conference in Amman, “A country named ‘Palestine’ has never existed.” Jordanian King Hussein responded, “The appearance of the national Palestinian persona serves as a response to Israel’s claim that Palestine is Jewish.”

“Why is it that on June 4th 1967 I was a Jordanian and overnight I became a Palestinian? We did not particularly mind Jordanian rule. The teaching of the destruction of Israel was a definite part of the curriculum, but we considered ourselves Jordanian until the Jews returned to Jerusalem. Then all of the sudden we were Palestinians – they removed the star from the Jordanian flag and all at once we had a Palestinian flag. When I finally realized the lies and myths I was taught, it is my duty as a righteous person to speak out”. Walid Shoebat, former PLO terrorist.

Yassar Arafat in 1970 told the reporter Arianna Palazzi:

“The question of borders doesn’t interest us… From the Arab standpoint, we mustn’t talk about borders. Palestine is nothing but a drop in an enormous ocean. Our nation is the Arabic nation that stretches from the Atlantic Ocean to the Red Sea and beyond it….. The P.L.O. is fighting Israel in the name of Pan-Arabism. What you call “Jordan” is nothing more than Palestine.”

In an essay titled “Our War with the Jews Is in the Name of Islam,” Muslim scholar Yusuf Al-Qaradawi broadcast on Qatar Television in 2006: “Everything will be on our side and against Jews on [Judgement Day], at that time, even the stones and the trees will speak, with or without words, and say: ‘Oh servant of Allah, oh Muslim, there’s a Jew behind me, come and kill him.’” (Legacy, 455)

And this is for you Bartholomew, you spineless snivelling socialist fascist coward: “How easy it should be, for anyone who holds dear this inalienable right of all mankind, to understand and support the right of the Jewish People to live in their ancient Land of Israel. All men of good will exult in the fulfilment of God’s promise, that his People should return in joy to rebuild their plundered land. This is Zionism, nothing more, nothing less…. And what is anti-Zionist? It is the denial to the Jewish people of a fundamental right that we justly claim for the people of Africa and freely accord all other nations of the Globe. It is discrimination against Jews, my friend, because they are Jews. In short, it is anti-Semitism… Let my words echo in the depths of your soul: When people criticize Zionism, they mean Jews–make no mistake about it.” Martin Luther King

      • You state:
“As for female captives: nothing in the Quran says that.”

Obviously you ignore, or have not encountered, Sura 33: 50.

Rather than provide one translation and be accused of selecting the one with the cadence/resonance to augment my point, I will merely provide a link to 3 translations whose meaning is abundantly clear:

        http://www.usc.edu/schools/college/crcc/engagement/resources/texts/muslim/quran/033.qmt.html#033.050

If you tell me that there is no such thing in the Koran, when there is, then it is pointless discussing with you.

You seem like one of the dead people in “The Sixth Sense” – seeing only what you want to see.

And as for your other statement:
“Zionism, in short, is an idealogy that says that Jews need to be returned to the Holy Land so they can be bombed and killed and massacred by a group of countries so that Jesus can return and kill all non-Christians.”

I wonder where this was plucked from…..

      • @Eglantine:

That’s quite a collection of quotes you have there. any of your own ideas in there too or do you just want to play the quotes game, because I can play either and, I suspect, beat you at both.

“The Arabs began the Israeli-Arab conflict and Israel has had to fight for her survival for over 60 years. ”

Wait, are you blaming the leftist socialists for the Holocaust where millions of Jews were murdered because of being Jewish. If I recall correctly, Hitler was not a huge fan of the left, actively pursued them and murdered them in his own country.
You do know that Zionists, at one point in time, were big friends with the Communists, because the Orthodox Jews and other religious people had no interest in Zionism and Israel, right?

But, apart from that, these are the same lines we heard when anti-Semitism was fought against or black people fought for equal rights. Which is interesting, but chilling at the same time.

“The Jewish State in Palestine was born on May 14 as the British finally left the country. Five Arab armies (Egypt, Syria, Transjordan, Lebanon and Iraq) immediately invaded Israel. Their intentions were declared by Azzam Pasha, Secretary-General of the Arab League: “This will be a war of EXTERMINATION and a momentous MASSACRE which will be spoken of like the Mongolian massacres and the Crusades”.”

Ah, yes, the Arab-Israeli war which is usually presented by Zionists as a war where 5 countries attacked 1 poor country. What they fail to say is that the poor country had twice as many soldiers with the most advanced weaponry and tanks against a bunch of disjointed militias with hunting rifles. When they did come up against a somewhat organised force from even 1 country, they were halted right in their tracks.

And then we have the usual quote from Pasha, which can only be found and backed up by Zionist sources. When looking at somewhat non-Zionist and somewhat impartial sources however, we see that this quote is continually labelled as “cannot be confirmed from cited sources”. Even the laughably pro-Israel Wikipedia was updated to reflect this yet you somehow missed it.

“The extermination of the Jews in Israel is and has always been the openly stated goal of the Arabs, and the so-called ‘Palestinians’. In supporting them, the Left is merely being true to form.”

I doubt that the Crusades, the Inquisition or the Holocaust were planned and executed by leftists and progressives. In fact, the groups behind those atrocities were what we would call Right Wing and Christian.

“In 1977, Zahir Muhsein, of the PLO ledership, the leader of the al-Sa’iqa Organisation…”

Muhsein was a pro-Syrian who wanted Palestine to become a part of Syria.

“Jordanian King Hussein responded, “The appearance of the national Palestinian persona serves as a response to Israel’s claim that Palestine is Jewish.” ”

Do you not see that your own quote says WHY the King said what he said? Read your own quote again.

Apart from that, it’s funny that pro-Zionists fail to understand what was being said is not entirely untrue. There is no historical or archaeological proof that Jews built or founded Jerusalem or even lived there the longest. This is something that antagonizes Zionists a lot because their claim is based on some Biblical story. What is clear is that for a long time Jews, Muslims and Christians lived in Jerusalem as one people. They did not call themselves Israelis.

Besides, is this any different to what Golda Meir said: “There is no such thing as a Palestinian people… It is not as if we came and threw them out and took their country. They didn’t exist.” Of course, unsurprisingly, you will not answer this question…

        “Walid Shoebat, former PLO terrorist.”

You mean Shoebat: liar and Islamophobe. It’s so sad that Islamophobes cannot see how much money Shoebat and others like him are making for verbally fulfilling the anti-Arab and Islamophobic blood thirst that exists in the West. Somehow, whenever a Muslim says something positive it is Taqiyya but whenever a “former”-Muslim who is now making millions for saying what he says it is because he is a former Muslim and hero. Wake up is what I would say but alas, I will let Shoebat have his fun. Keep giving him your money.

“And this is for you Bartholomew, you spineless snivelling socialist fascist coward:”

Richard is anything but a spineless snivelling socialist fascist coward. He is one of the few bloggers on Religion who does not take sides and is actually incredibly well informed on various religions and belief systems and their traditions and history.

Anyway, since you are so adamant about playing Quote! (The Quote Game), let’s play:

*Let us not ignore the truth among ourselves … politically we are the aggressors and they defend themselves… The country is theirs, because they inhabit it, whereas we want to come here and settle down, and in their view we want to take away from them their country. … Behind the terrorism [by the Arabs] is a movement, which though primitive is not devoid of idealism and self sacrifice.
        ~ David Ben Gurion

*The Partition of Palestine is illegal. It will never be recognized… Jerusalem was and will for ever be our capital. Eretz Israel will be restored to the people of Israel. All of it. And for Ever.
        ~ Menachem Begin

*This country exists as the fulfillment of a promise made by God Himself. It would be ridiculous to ask it to account for its legitimacy.
        ~ Golda Meir

*If I was an Arab leader I would never make [peace] with Israel. That is natural: we have taken their country.
        ~ David Ben Gurion

*I would have joined a terrorist organization.
~ Ehud Barak, in response to Gideon Levy, a columnist for the Ha’aretz newspaper, when Barak was asked what he would have done if he had been born a Palestinian.

*We should prepare to go over to the offensive. Our aim is to smash Lebanon, Trans-Jordan, and Syria. The weak point is Lebanon, for the Moslem regime is artificial and easy for us to undermine. We shall establish a Christian state there, and then we will smash the Arab Legion, eliminate Trans-Jordan; Syria will fall to us. We then bomb and move on and take Port Said, Alexandria and Sinai.
        ~ David Ben Gurion

*If I were an Arab leader, I would never sign an agreement with Israel. It is normal; we have taken their country. It is true God promised it to us, but how could that interest them? Our God is not theirs. There has been Anti-Semitism, the Nazis, Hitler, Auschwitz, but was that their fault? They see but one thing: we have come and we have stolen their country. Why would they accept that?
        ~ David Ben Gurion

*In strategic terms, the settlements (in Judea, Samaria, and Gaza) are of no importance.
        ~ Ze’ev Binyamin (Benny) Begin

*It would be better to drown these prisoners in the Dead Sea if possible, since that’s the lowest point in the world.
        ~ Avigdor Lieberman

*The establishment of such a school is a foul, disgraceful deed. You can’t mix pure and foul. They are a disease, a disaster, a devil. The Arabs are asses, and the question must be asked, why did God did not create them walking on their fours? The answer is that they need to build and wash. They have no place in our school.
~ Rabbi David Bazri speaking about a proposed integrated school in Israel.

*[The Palestinians] are beasts walking on two legs.
        ~ Menachem Begin

*Is Zionism racism? I would say yes. It’s a policy that to me looks like it has very many parallels with racism. The effect is the same. Whether you call it that or not is in a sense irrelevant.
        ~ Bishop Desmond Tutu

*One million Arabs are not worth a Jewish fingernail.
        ~ Rabbi Ya’acov Perin

*Israeli lives are worth more than Palestinian ones.
        ~ Ehud Olmert

*How can we return the occupied territories? There is nobody to return them to.
        ~ Golda Meir

*We must expel Arabs and take their places.
        ~ David Ben Gurion

*Israel should have exploited the repression of the demonstrations in China, when world attention focused on that country, to carry out mass expulsions among the Arabs of the territories.
        ~Binyamin Netanyahu

*It must be clear that there is no room for both peoples in this country. If the Arabs leave the country, it will be broad and wide-open for us. If the Arabs stay, the country will remain narrow and miserable. The only solution is Israel without Arabs. There is no room for compromise on this point. The Zionist enterprise so far… has been fine and good in its own time, and could do with “land buying” — but this will not bring about the State of Israel; that must come all at once, in the manner of a Salvation [this is the secret of the Messianic idea]; and there is no way besides transferring the Arabs from here to the neighboring countries, to transfer them all; except maybe for Bethlehem, Nazareth and Old Jerusalem, we must not leave a single village, not a single tribe. And only with such a transfer will the country be able to absorb millions of our brothers, and the Jewish question shall be solved, once and for all.
        ~ Joseph Weitz

*… we have no solution, that you shall continue to live like dogs, and whoever wants to can leave — and we will see where this process leads? In five years we may have 200,000 less people — and that is a matter of enormous importance.
        ~ Moshe Dayan

*It is the duty of Israeli leaders to explain to public opinion, clearly and courageously, a certain number of facts that are forgotten with time. The first of these is that there is no Zionism, colonization or Jewish State without the eviction of the Arabs and the expropriation of their lands.
        ~ Yoram Bar Porath

*In our country there is room only for the Jews. We shall say to the Arabs: Get out! If they don’t agree, if they resist, we shall drive them out by force.
        ~ Professor Ben-Zion Dinur

*The Arabs will have to go, but one needs an opportune moment for making it happen, such as a war.
        ~ David Ben Gurion

*Anything moving in the zone, even a three year old, needs to be killed.
        ~ The Israeli Captain R

*We must use terror, assassination, intimidation, land confiscation, and the cutting of all social services to rid the Galilee of its Arab population.
        ~ David Ben Gurion

*[Three quarters of a million young people who have served in the IDF] know that the task of the army is not only to defend the state in the battlefield against a foreign army, but to demolish the rights of innocent people just because they are Araboushim living in territories that God promised to us.
~Yaram Peri in Davar, academic specialist on Israeli affairs. Araboushim is Israeli slang that is roughly equivalent to niggers or kikes.

And so I can go on and one. Just say the word if you want to.

  8. Wasn’t Satan the most beautiful being ever created by God? If that is supposed to be beautiful, then are humans ugly in the sight of God?

  9. Note to Eglantine: cutting and pasting a load of quotes makes you look like a crank. And your MLK quote is a hoax, by the way.

    • I do not know if the MLK quote is a hoax or not; It apparently first appears in a 1971 book of quotes, published in NYC. It is fairly ubiquitous on American conservative websites. But according to one link:

‘ Though some have said that this passage was never penned by King, Dr. Seymour Martin Lipset of George Mason University and Stanford University wrote in 1969 that he heard King respond to an anti-Zionist remark by saying, “Don’t talk like that! When people criticize Zionists, they mean Jews. You’re talking anti-Semitism!” ‘

      http://www.israelnationalnews.com/news/news.aspx/135032

I have limited time right now, but it would be interesting to do some research on the real provenance of the statement.

  10. Yes – “argumentum ad verecundiam” is a highly irritating debating technique/logical fallacy.

But it is employed frequently in blog comments, along with my favourite logical fallacy – argumentum ad baculum (e.g.: If you carry on this way, a plague of frogs will invade your kitchen, so agree with me)….

  11. Throughout her posts on here, June has made racist remarks regarding Arabs. Read through her posts. She has used racist arguments to portray Arabs as inferior, backwards people. She then mixes this with Islam when is talking about brown people in the Western world. That is why I call her out.

Yet another soft racist who thinks Islam has a color!

To white western liberals steeped in soft-bigotry, islam is a ‘brown’ religion, and so criticisng any of its fascistic theocracy, no matter how justified ,and even if done by reformist Muslims themselves, amounts ot nothing but racism.

It,s the simplistic logic of a semi-literate sophomore.

That’s why these same sophomoric fools gasp in disbelief upon being told that 75% of Christians are non-white., including probably, the faith’s founder.

A religion is not a race, and Islam can in no way be equated with being Arab since more than 80% of its adherents AREN’T Arab.

    Got that , EJ?

It’s easier to reason with a lampost than with a white liberal and their islamo-facist fellow travellers.

  12. Yet more nonsense from the drunken drugged-up minds of the EDL. They probably draw childish cartoons mocking Mohammed in order to get a juvenile giggle at the expense of Muslims. Pathetic Zionists!

  13. Regular readers of this website will be aware of the considerable irony of “June” making these remarks…..given that “June” has repeatedly equated “Muslim” with “Arab”, such as the following historically false assertions on a recent thread just a few days ago:

You are unable to address anything I say.

Pointing out the intellectual paucity of the Arabo-Muslim world, its lack of progress, of science, of technology, of research and of basic human rights isn’t “anti-islam”.

When a portrait is ugly, then the comments made about that ugly portrait will be ugly as well.

Only a fool would equate honesty with racism.

    Wake the fuck up.

    • @June

“Yet another soft racist who thinks Islam has a color!”

      Green. Right?

“To white western liberals steeped in soft-bigotry, islam is a ‘brown’ religion, and so criticisng any of its fascistic theocracy, no matter how justified ,and even if done by reformist Muslims themselves, amounts ot nothing but racism.”

What makes you think I’m a Liberal? As I told you before, do not label me. I am neither Left nor Right. Neither Liberal nor Conservative. Neither White nor Brown.

But, moving on June, you really want me to dig up your previous posts? Are you saying you have not said that Arabs are backwards, inferior, unintelligent and bloodthirsty?

“That’s why these same sophomoric fools gasp in disbelief upon being told that 75% of Christians are non-white., including probably, the faith’s founder.”

Yep, Jesus was a Jew from Palestine.

“A religion is not a race, and Islam can in no way be equated with being Arab since more than 80% of its adherents AREN’T Arab.”

I know. And because a religion cannot be equated with race, racist gangs operating under the islamophobic movement are growing. Because they cannot be racist without being charged, they have taken to being Islamophobic and use this as an excuse to chant against Arabs and Asians. At the same time, the pro-Zionist contingent of these Islamophobes pushes the theory that any criticism of Israel is racist because anti-Semitism is racism seeing as how being being a Jew/Jewish is seen as a race (Apparently it passes on from the Jewish mother).

But as I said before: do you really want me to dig up your post-history about Arabs? The only time you talk about “Muslims” is when you talk about Arabs or Asians in the Western world.

“Pointing out the intellectual paucity of the Arabo-Muslim world, its lack of progress, of science, of technology, of research and of basic human rights isn’t “anti-islam”.”

It is telling that probably the most technologically advanced Muslim country in the Middle East is Iran. Its technology is coming up leaps and bounds. It’s schools and universities are producing sophisticated graduates in medicine, literature, philosophy, nuclear physics etc. And we want to bomb them. The only countries we don’t want to bomb in the Middle East are those that pose no threat to the racist attitude we have towards Arabs and brown countries, namely that they should oppress there people. Those countries, we wholeheartedly support. Like our good friend Mubarak, whose forces regularly kill and capture Muslims and Christians in Egypt while rigging every election.

Regardless, why don’t we hear you say these things about, say, Mexico, or Latin America, or Christian countries in Africa? Because, on top of being a racist against Arabs, you are an Islamophobe.

“Only a fool would equate honesty with racism.”

Your comments have been uttered throughout history. We heard them when anti-Semitism was being tackled. We heard them when black people were fighting for equal rights. They are the same comments of people who would take violent crimes committed by black gangs and present them as evidence for the inferiority of black people and how they are prone to violence. For some reason, people like you see anyone who might get equal treatment and anyone who backs that group as someone who is going to kill you or take over.

      • You are unable to address anything I say.

Yet more false statements by “June”.

        – “June” has aggressively berated EJ about the fact that “Islam” can in no way be equated with being “Arab” because the majority of Muslims worldwide are not Arab.

        – Yet there are three very recent examples on this website where “June” has done exactly that, as per the examples supplied in my earlier comment and as per “June’s” subsequent response:

        1. On a recent thread (URL links and quotes supplied in my previous comment above), “June” repeatedly used the fabricated hybrid term “Arabo-Muslim” to refer to the Mughals, originally Persianised Turks from Uzbekistan who weren’t even remotely “Arab” either ancestally or culturally, and who proceeded to repeatedly engage in such a high level of intermarriage with the Hindu Rajput aristocracy over the course of multiple generations that (for example) the ancestry of the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan, the builder of the Taj Mahal, was technically ¾ Rajput;

        2. “June” subsequently repeated the error a third time by using the term “Arabo-Muslim” yet again on this thread, as per “June’s” statement below:

Pointing out the intellectual paucity of the Arabo-Muslim world

Therefore, my previous point still stands: “June” is repeatedly conflating “Muslim” with “Arab” by using the fabricated hybrid term “Arabo-Muslim”, even when the description is grossly inaccurate, and even though this directly contradicts “June’s” own remarks directed at EJ about the fact that Islam cannot be equated with “Arab” because the majority of Muslims in the world are not actually Arabs.

  14. Richard, my post was not showing up so I tried to post it in 3 parts. One was for Eglantine, the other for June and the other for Adrian Morgan. I can see the ones for June and Eglantine, but the reply to Adrian Morgen is not showing.

And yes, I, foolishly, may have posted a couple of times…. Any help?

    *cough*

  15. Therefore, my previous point still stands: “June” is repeatedly conflating “Muslim” with “Arab” by using the fabricated hybrid term “Arabo-Muslim”

    Read much?

My point still stands. You see those Arabs who aren’t Muslim tend to be far more progressive, far wealthier and far more educated.

They also tend to be far less inbred than their Muslim ‘cousins’, which goes a long way in explaining why thery’re far more progressive, wealthy and educated.

    Do you get it now?

  16. Proof You are so blinkered by Islam as to be impervious to both proof and truth. EJ

How dreadful are the curses which Mohammedanism lays on its votaries! Besides the fanatical frenzy, which is as dangerous in a man as hydrophobia in a dog, there is this fearful fatalistic apathy. The effects are apparent in many countries. Improvident habits, slovenly systems of agriculture, sluggish methods of commerce, and insecurity of property exist wherever the followers of the Prophet rule or live. A degraded sensualism deprives this life of its grace and refinement; the next of its dignity and sanctity. The fact that in Mohammedan law every woman must belong to some man as his absolute property, either as a child, a wife, or a concubine, must delay the final extinction of slavery until the faith of Islam has ceased to be a great power among men. Thousands become the brave and loyal soldiers of the Queen: all know how to die but the influence of the religion paralyses the social development of those who follow it. No stronger retrograde force exists in the world. Far from being moribund, Mohammedanism is a militant and proselytizing faith. It has already spread throughout Central Africa, raising fearless warriors at every step; and were it not that Christianity is sheltered in the strong arms of science, the science against which it had vainly struggled, the civilisation of modern Europe might fall, as fell the civilisation of ancient Rome. Winston Churchill

    • I said proof, give me proof that what you said about Arabs is true. Not give me quotes from Churchill. Yes, he was a great wartime leader, but he was also a racist.

  17. Read much?

It is evident that I read far more than “June” does, who was unaware of the simple fact that neither the Mughals nor the Delhi Sultans were Arabs, and repeatedly referred to them as “Arabo-Muslims” on a recent thread. “June” was also grossly ignorant of major aspects of Indian history during the Mughal era, particularly events involving Sikhs.

    My point still stands.

One of the problems with the “Big Lie” propaganda technique is that the written evidence contradicting the false claim is often clearly visible, irrespective of how many times the false claim is repeated.

As can be viewed on multiple threads on this website, including this thread, “June” persistently and deliberately conflates “Muslim” with “Arab” by repeatedly using the fabricated hybrid term “Arabo-Muslim” even when the description is extremely inaccurate; the remarks about Indian history are a particularly notable example. “June” also repeatedly contradicts his/her own deliberate conflation by paradoxically stating that most Muslims are not Arabs. So there are diametrically contradictory claims being made by the same person, even on the same thread.

As I said earlier, my original point still stands: “June” has aggressively attacked EJ about the fact that “Muslim” is not automatically synonymous with “Arab”, yet “June” has repeatedly been guilty of exactly this type of false conflation.

    • Thank you for your insightful posts regarding Indian history. I have been fascinated with the whole history between the Persians, Turks, Indians and Mongols.

  18. @ Jai.

Perhaps this will help you see the light and help you understand why Muslim keep slicing off pieces of India.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Negationism_in_India:_Concealing_the_Record_of_Islam

    • Ah yes, evidence being hidden. This remindsme of that article I read about Sharia courts, where they followed what was happening in Sharia courts beause they had full access. After some time they could not find anything unlawful under English law happening so the article said: Something is probably being covered up. We suspect this is happening but the sneaky Muslim kept it out our sight.

Elst is no different than that man who claims that the “conquest” of India was worse than the Holocaust. Upon further reserarch, it turns out that claim was put forward by a fundamentalist Christian at a time when Christian missionaries were trying to convert as many Hindus and Muslims in the subcontinent as possible.

Unfortunately for these people however, unbiased research from economists about the world history shows that the population of India actually increased instead of decreased through killing. But alas, that is all ignoring the reason India was “conquered” in the first place. Who knows, maybe if the Indian rulers never attacked the Turk-Mongol warlords and then ran back to India, there would be no “conquest”.

  19. Who knows, maybe if the Indian rulers never attacked the Turk-Mongol warlords and then ran back to India, there would be no “conquest”.

Yes, yes EJ, just as they killed Salmaan Taseer.

unbiased research from economists about the world history shows that the population of India actually increased instead of decreased through killing.

    Yes, killing increases the population.

Poland entered WWII with a population of 33 million and ended it with 50 million!

    You are so smart.

  20. “Yes, yes EJ, just as they killed Salmaan Taseer.”

Salman Taseer was a great politician and a proud Muslim. If you even for a second think he would support your point of view, you are wrong. If I recall correctly, about 95% of the Pakistani Muslim population is Sufi. So no, Taseer was not alone.

    “Yes, killing increases the population.

Poland entered WWII with a population of 33 million and ended it with 50 million!

    You are so smart.”

Actually, the argument presented by Islamophobes was that because the “conquest” of India was so horrific that it surpassed the Holocaust, the population of India decreased through all the murdering and killing done by the Muslims. Why did they say this? Well, let;’s take your example. The population of Poland before WWII was around 34 million. After WWII it was around 23 million:

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Demographic_history_of_Poland

    http://countrystudies.us/poland/27.htm

Anyway, unfortunately for the Islamophobes, when the source was traced of that argument against the Muslims in India, it turned out that is was an Orientalist during the Colonial period who was trying to convert the Muslims and Hindus to Christianity, by trying to portray them as violent and backward. But other research carried out showed that the population of India actually increased by the 10s of millions instead of decreased, as usually happens during a porlonged period of killing and massacring like in WWII.

  21. Maybe Roberta Moore means this as a compliment?

Before she became the leader of the Jewish Division, Roberta Moore had a bit of an obsessino with Satan, saying: “Satan is kind”

Other Roberta Moore references to Satan include:

“Religious people, zealots and ignorants alike have a lot in common: They believe blindly in the demonization of Satan, the Lord of Justice. The prosecutor who is said to preside over the court of G-d.” 03 May 2010

“That’s why I wrote that. I wanted people to realize that Satan is no devil and that the real evil stems from ALLAH, the CURSE. אלה – This is Allah in Hebrew. It’s translated as CURSE.”
    03 May at 14:24 ·

(A friend tells me that Moore has the Hebrew wrong – Allah in Hebrew is אלוהּ ).

And here’s the way that Moore publicly justifies killing of followers of Islam:

Roberta Moore: As I said, the cult of Islam is EVIL. It dehumanizes people.

A young man replies: bad to kill people!!!
    Are you bad?
    03 May at 16:33 · Flag.

Roberta Moore: It’s not bad to kill BAD people who are not really people but evil beings in the body of humans.
    03 May at 17:13 · Flag.

Roberta Moore: … the so-called SATAN himself is the good guy.
    03 May at 20:28 · Flag.

  22. […] Back in December, Moore promoted the theory that “Satan’s face” can be discerned within the marble patterning on the Dome of the Rock. […]
