Walid Shoebat Expands Internet Presence

Walid Shoebat’s website has had a make-over, and he has a new Twitter feed and Facebook page – all the better to make our flesh creep with tales of the evils of Islam, and of how the Bible predicts the rise of a Muslim anti-Christ (plus, of course, of how Obama is a secret Muslim). Shoebat’s handler, Keith Davies, explains that

We have now engaged a full time internet person, his Name Max Gibson former IDF veteran of the Gaza campaign of 2008/2009 who also happens to be a computer science graduate and an experienced marketeer in the internet world.

In the few days he has been working on the web traffic department we have seen a big increase, we hope with all the other bells and whistles Max will be working soon  that the traffic will multiply even further.

Gibson previously helped to arrange Shoebat’s university appearances. However, he also made the news on his own account back in 2007; the Orange County Register reported:

A young man in a turban, his face covered, marches around UC Irvine with signs saying “Death to Infidels. Death to Israel” during a week of campus demonstrations by Muslim students.

Here’s the catch: He’s not Muslim…

…Was he aware that passers-by might actually think he was a terrorist?

“Of course,” said Max Gibson, 27, a self-proclaimed Zionist who lives in San Diego and is affiliated with a college Republican group. “It was to make people think.”

The report adds that campus police decided “to disarm him of fake bombs strapped to his body”. Further:

Max Gibson, the San Diego resident who marched in a turban around UCI, e-mailed a campus administrator on May 22 that he was “at UC Irvine campus, and as a young Jewish Republican, I am so, so, so enraged.”

Gibson went on to say that he had “been spit on, received death threats and been insulted heavily this last week.”

In an interview with the Register, Gibson, who is not a UCI student, repeated his allegations that he was spit on and threatened.

Campus police have a different version of the tale, saying that Gibson recanted when asked to discuss the threats.

According to a memo in which Assistant Police Chief Jeff Hutchison recalled the conversation, Gibson said, “I’m really sorry, but I embellished a bit”

“He said that no one had actually threatened his life, but four MSU students told him they would have their friends take care of me,” Hutchinson reported that Gibson told him. “I said, “So you do not believe your life is in danger or that anyone is planning to kill you?” Mr. Gibson replied, “No, no. Not at all.” I asked Mr. Gibson about the spitting incident and he said that the spit from the MSU student’s mouths, who he argued with, would land on him as they argued. I asked him if he wished to file a formal crime report on any of these incidents. He declined to do so.”

Someone who has “embellished a bit” working for Walid Shoebat? I’m shocked.

  1. This man gets funnier every time I hear from him. I cant tell if he is actually serious or just another Colbert.

  2. Is there any link do you think between Shoebat’s world view and that of Melanie Phillips? See http://www.spectator.co.uk/melaniephillips/5796657/no-longer-londistan-but-hamastan.thtml

    • Ofcourse, people like this need an enemy. They are very much in sync with each other and others like Spencer, Geller and Schlussell.

Shoebats making money off his “I was a terrorist yet im not in a jail right now” story. Phillips gets paid handsomely as well. Almost all of them have numerous books regurgitating the same crap over and over and they make loads of money of all of these.

  3. You can’t get a more comical name than “Shoebat”. When will denials as bellow be criminalised because these people are as bad as the holocaust deniers:
“Why is it that on June 4th 1967 I was a Jordanian and overnight I became a Palestinian?”

  4. Walid Shoebat is following me on twitter for some reason. I’d block him, but I don’t think I have enough followers as it is.

And cat stevens makes money by poluting the minds of imbeciles and children

    Mr M @ I was a Jordanian and overnight I became a Palestinian?”

    How about the full quote

“Why is it that on June 4th 1967 I was a Jordanian and overnight I became a Palestinian?”

“We did not particularly mind Jordanian rule. The teaching of the destruction of Israel was a definite part of the curriculum, but we considered ourselves Jordanian until the Jews returned to Jerusalem. Then all of the sudden we were Palestinians – they removed the star from the Jordanian flag and all at once we had a Palestinian flag”.

Let us hear what other Arabs have said:

“There is no such country as Palestine. ‘Palestine’ is a term the Zionists invented. There is no Palestine in the Bible. Our country was for centuries part of Syria. ‘Palestine’ is alien to us. It is the Zionists who introduced it”.

    – Auni Bey Abdul-Hadi, Syrian Arab leader to British Peel Commission, 1937 –

“There is no such thing as Palestine in history, absolutely not”.

    – Professor Philip Hitti, Arab historian, 1946 –

“It is common knowledge that Palestine is nothing but Southern Syria”.

    – Representant of Saudi Arabia at the United Nations, 1956 –

Concerning the Holy Land, the chairman of the Syrian Delegation at the Paris Peace Conference in February 1919 stated:

“The only Arab domination since the Conquest in 635 c.e. hardly lasted, as such, 22 years”.

The preceding declarations by Arab politicians have been done before 1967, as they had not the slightest knowledge of the existence of any Palestinian people. How and when did they change their mind and decided that such people existed? When the State of Israel was reborn in 1948 c.e., the “Palestinians” did not exist yet, the Arabs had still not discovered that “ancient” people. They were too busy with the purpose of annihilating the new Sovereign State and did not intend to create any Palestinian entity, but only to distribute the land among the already existing Arab states. They were defeated. They attempted again to destroy Israel in 1967, and were humiliated in only six days, in which they lost the lands that they had usurped in 1948. In those 19 years of Arab occupation of Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria and the Gaza Strip, neither Jordan nor Egypt suggested to create a “Palestinian” state, since the still non-existing Palestinians would have never claimed their alleged right to have their own state… Paradoxically, during the British Mandate, it was not any Arab group but the Jews that were known as “Palestinians”!

There is no language known as Palestinian, or any Palestinian culture distinct from that of all the Arabs in the area. There has never been a land known as Palestine governed by Palestinians. “Palestinians” are Arabs indistinguishable from Arabs throughout the Middle East. The great majority of Arabs in greater Palestine and Israel share the same culture, language and religion.

Much of the Arab population in this area actually migrated into Israel and Judea and Samaria from the surrounding Arab countries in the past 100 years. The rebirth of Israel was accompanied by economic prosperity for the region. Arabs migrated to this area to find employment and enjoy the higher standard of living. In documents not more than hundred years, the area is described as a scarcely populated region. Jews by far were the majority in Jerusalem over the small Arab minority. Until the Oslo agreement the major source of income for Arab residents was employment in the Israeli sector. To this day, many Arabs try to migrate into Israel with various deceptions to become a citizen of Israel.

Palestinians are the newest of all the peoples on the face of the Earth, and began to exist in a single day by a kind of supernatural phenomenon that is unique in the whole history of mankind, as it is witnessed by Walid Shoebat, a former PLO terrorist that acknowledged the lie he was fighting for and the truth he was fighting against:

    • Just like there wasnt a country called Israel for centuries. If you want to go down that route, Israel was an ancient empire that fell. Before Israel was created by the mass genocide of the Canaanites, Philistine was an actual land there. So if Israel has a right to call itself Israel based on some ancient claim, so do the other party. The problem is not the creation of an Arab state or whatever, the problem is the betrayal of the Arabs who were promised autonomy, but instead were conquered by the English and French. They however soon left after terror attacks from groups like the Stern gang and left the fate of Israel/Palestine to whoever had the most weapons, either physical or political. The other biggest problem is the denial of the right of return and the collective punishment policy engaged in by Israel which is contrary to international law Israel signed up for. If we can lambast Iran for breaking international law it signed up for, we can do teh same to Israel.

But ofcourse, people like Shoebat, who have nothing but praise for Judaism but refuse to convert to Judaism, make big bucks pandering to people like you. You know whats funny? That the evangelical movement Shoebat and co cater to and are part of cannot wait for the destruction of Israel and the genocide of the Jews so that Jesus can return and kill all non-Christians. But ofcourse, before that they want Israel to kill half of the Middle-East and then take it over to become “Greater Israel”.

  6. I believe Yusuf Islam’s primary source of income is back royalties from his very successful recording career. I’m not sure if that counts as “polluting the minds of imbeciles and children,” although perhaps someone who is not a fan might think so, I suppose.

If, as I suspect, you are arguing that Yusuf Islam makes a living from proselytising for Islam, I’m not sure that that’s the case.

  7. HA< HA< HA

    LOL

must be doing the right thing if you guys hate us so much

  8. Salaam Alaychem Bartholomew!! Together we will succeed in liberating Palestine!! Death to the Jews, Death to Israel… and when Israel is done… Death to America!

  9. Wahad Mussami @Salaam Alaychem Bartholomew!! Together we will succeed in liberating Palestine!! Death to the Jews, Death to Israel… and when Israel is done… Death to America!

    Spoken like a true moslem

We @Take your hate elsewhere dipshit

Whats the matter, you are so offend when a moslem speaks the truth, and makes everything you have written in the EDL thread look pathetic

  10. The population of Israel is currently 19.8% Arabic, and 16.2% Muslim.

The population of the Palestinian territory in Gaza is currently 0% Jewish.

The Jewish population of Arab countries is currently slightly above 0%, after those nations drove about 800,000 Jewish people from their homes by force.
These numbers prove that there is tolerance towards Arabs in Israel, but there is state-sanctioned genocidal behavior towards Jewish people in Arabic nations.

Why do folks like “we” not condemn the behavior of Arab nations who drove 800,000 Jewish people out of their homes? Why do they not condemn Arab nations who have behaved so brutally to their Jewish citizens, that, just barely over 0% of their population is Jewish?

  11. Shiva,

Do you have evidence of Jewish homes being bulldozed by Arabs? People who aren’t Jews are leaving Russia and Ethiopia just for the benefits and free housing, so who is “driving” them out of Ethiopia and Russia?

With your logic, I would be obsessed with getting revenge over the Germans but Germans know how to protect their people from the likes of you don’t they?

  12. Mr M @ Do you have evidence of Jewish homes being bulldozed by Arabs?

No, but I have evidence of Palistinians driving bulldozers over cars with people in them

JERUSALEM — A Palestinian driver rammed a construction vehicle into a bus and police car on a highway Thursday, wounding two officers before he was shot dead, police said, the latest in a string of attacks by militants using heavy machinery against Israeli targets.

Witnesses described a harrowing sight of a towering yellow front loader speeding along Jerusalem’s Begin Highway, dragging the police car, flipping it into the air and trying to crush it with its front shovel.

A Palestinian has driven a bulldozer into a bus and several cars in Jerusalem, killing three people before being shot dead.
Dozens of others were hurt, at least seven critically, in the incident on Jaffa Road.
This video freezes just before the driver was shot dead, and shows the scene afterwards.

Mr M @ People who aren’t Jews are leaving Russia and Ethiopia just for the benefits and free housing

Oh those nasty racist jews, are now giving benefits and free housing to the gohim

Mr M @ With your logic, I would be obsessed with getting revenge over the Germans but Germans know how to protect their people from the likes of you don’t they?

The British where not much better, you forget the The Évian Conference and the role the allies played in appeasing Hitler and giving him the green light to believe he could do whatever he wanted to the Jewish people as nobody wanted them and this resulted in genocide. By their refusal to take Jewish refugees the countries who attended the Evian Conference condemned them to torture, inhumane treatment and a horrible death

  13. Bizarrely, Shoebat is following me on Twitter…

  14. He’s following me as well. Typical internet “marketing” tactics – follow everybody and hope that a few people follow you and retweet your words of wisdom.
I think I’ll log on to Twitter now and call him a fraud and a conmerchant. Maybe link to Richard’s posts about him. I might create a hashtag especially for him – anyone got any suggestions?
