UPDATE (18 April): The second half of this post has been updated several times in the last few days in the light of new information.
In a quote provided to Private Eye magazine (1), former TV journalist turned conspiracy theorist Anna Brees has explained how it is that Michael Tarraga’s misery memoir Meat Rack Boy, recently published with her assistance, includes an allegation of sex abuse against former Prime Minister Edward Heath that was absent from the previous edition of his life story, as presented in his self-published book The Successful Failure:
“I knew this would draw attention to his story and it has,” Brees tells the Eye. “As a journalist I knew what the ‘headline’ would be for others, so pursued this in my interview and added it to the book.”
As I noted in a previous post, Heath wasn’t part of Tarraga’s story until he was explicitly prompted to name him by Jon Wedger, a self-described “police whistleblower” who spends his time making video interviews with various people with allegations pertaining to child sex abuse, including Satanic Ritual Abuse. Wedger is a strong supporter of (and he claims friendship with) former Chief Constable Mike Veale, who led the posthumous investigation into allegations against Heath, and as such it is remarkably fortuitous that he just happened to find a new accuser while making a casual enquiry with an interview subject.
Wedger, who works closely with Brees, has a line of branded “I Stand with Jon Wedger” merchandise, and he is currently fundraising to “raise awareness” of child sex abuse – this is despite the ubiquity of the subject in the media for years and a slew of particularly lurid and sensational claims since the posthumous allegations against Jimmy Savile in 2012. According to Wedger, “all profits” from Tarraga’s book will “go to the campaign to expose an establishment cover up of child abuse”, while Brees now says that “the profits are paying for a two day new media training event in Blackpool this June”. In contrast, proceeds from The Successful Failure were pledged to a children’s hospice called Sam’s Place (2).
The Eye summarises the relevant chapter in Meat Rack Boy, entitled “Uncle Teddy”:
Tarraga says that while he attended Chafford approved school school for boys near Harwich, Essex, the deputy headmaster gave him half a crown to go to a sailing club in neighbouring Suffolk. “Uncle Teddy and I went swimming. I was taken to the boat… I just spent an afternoon with him sailing and swimming. What did Uncle Teddy do? “Dry my naked body, play with me and make me do something to him. We gave each other oral sex.”
Tarraga has said this was in 1962 or 1963, although records show that he was admitted to Chafford approved school in Harwich in Essex on 31 July 1963. According to the Eye:
Heath was Lord Privy Seal at the time, and the Eye has checked his day-to-day movements for the rest of that summer through his ministerial appointment diaries: crammed with official meetings and lunches in London, a five-day trip to Russia, a week’s holiday in Islay, visits to Stockholm and Helskini, and so on. It’s hard to see when or how he could have fitted in a lazy afternoon swimming, sailing and sexually abusing in Suffolk.
Other inconsistencies
In a follow-up article (3), the Eye says that it “has now found other inconsistencies in Tarraga’s accounts about his abusive upbringing”, but that Brees has “refused to answer any more questions after the Eye challenged her to explain the contradictions”.
No further details are provided, although interaction between the journalist Rosie Waterhouse and Anna Brees on Twitter since publication indicate that one example pertains to a social media post made by “tarraga1” in August 2011 to a site called RootsChat.com:
re your question about the orphanage in london colney it was st gabrials/st raphals at all saints convent run by sisters of the poor,I know this because my brother sister and myself lived there from 1952 untill1960 when I was moved to another home called the hollies in sidcup… i have many very happy memories of it during my time,
This appears to be inconsistent with Tarraga’s account in Meat Rack Boy, in which he says that he remained in foster care until 1959 and was then only at the convent school for ten months. Before that, he had been in foster home funded by Lambeth Council in Borehamwood (formerly spelt Boreham Wood), where, he alleges, the foster parents had “raped and sold him out to others” (as summarised by Wedger) from the age of four. His brother and sister had also been abused, but had been sent to the convent some years before him. Yet the above post has all three of them living together at All Saints – outside the jurisdiction of Lambeth Council – and apparently all very happy.
As Waterhouse puts it:
Happy to share all my questions to Anna Jon Wedger and Michael Tarraga. Where was Michael between 1952 and 1960? With wicked sex abusing foster parents? Or in children’s home in London where he had “many happy memories” a/c to email [sic] he sent 2011? Inconsistency. Unanswered.
Despite the reported refusal to answer questions, Brees has made several responses to the above. First, she suggested that Waterhouse was focusing on a trivial point about Tarraga’s age:
I’d love to share the questions sent to me by Rosie waterhouse @rosiew5. I fully stand by my reporting on what happened to @MikeTarraga the inconsistencies are that he could not remember if he was 3 or 4. What’s your agenda Rosie? What’s your view on victims of sexual abuse?
Brees’s own answer to this question is to suggest that Waterhouse is unduly focused on the idea that people make false allegations in order to receive compensation – thus her Tweet so includes some very short extracts from a 1997 Newsnight report that Waterhouse uploaded to YouTube a few years ago. The report was about the coincidentally named Waterhouse Inquiry (named for Ronald Waterhouse QC) into sexual abuse in children’s homes in Wales, and Brees’s extracts emphasise the word “compensation”.
Second, Brees has posted online a document indicating that Tarraga and his twin brother were indeed living in Borehamwood in 1954, and a letter that Tarraga received in December 2017 from the Lambeth Children’s Home Redress Scheme. The letter thanks Tarraga for “coming forward and telling the Council what you experienced while in care”, and recognises his “immense bravery and courage on your part to come forward and tell us about the abuse, particularly when you may have have feared that you might not be believed”.
Third, Brees has now recorded a new video interview with Tarraga, which has been uploaded by Wedger. Tarraga angrily denounces “Rosie Fucking Waterhouse”, whom he calls a liar, and Brees slightly cryptically summaries Tarraga’s early years as “You were taken away from your brother and sister, and you ended up with, they were in a place that you was much happier” [sic]. Tarraga confirms authorship of the tarraga1 post, but says it has been taken out of context. The opportunity to explain what the correct understanding should be, though, is not taken. The interview was then followed up by a short commentary from Brees, in which she again notes the 1954 email and describes Waterhouse’s mistaken reference to the forum post as having been an email as “her first lie”.
The Lambeth letter is clearly a standard reply; in Meat Rack Boy Tarraga says that he was at both the Hollies and Shirley Oaks prior to being sent to Chafford in the early 1960s, and Lambeth Council has acknowledged that there was widespread abuse at Shirley Oaks in particular – so much so that all former Shirley Oaks residents are now offered compensation, on the grounds that even those who may have escaped abuse were at risk of it (and in the new video Tarraga confirms that he has received compensation, which funded his Successful Failure book).
However, on Facebook Tarraga has complained that despite him receiving this letter, Lambeth “also state that i wasnt one of theirs” (also noted by Wedger on Twitter). Tarraga is now apparently in a dispute with Lambeth council about the matter; perhaps the issue is that Lambeth have said that they are not responsible for anything that happened to him in Hertfordshire, or later on at Chafford in Essex (when he says he encountered Edward Heath), but if so no-one appears to be advising him as to which authority he should be contacting instead. Certainly, it serves Wedger and Brees if Lambeth is thought to be involved in a “cover up” of some sort.
The same Facebook post also states:
whilst i cannot say nor will i say that i was raped bummed call it what you like by any famous person but i will state under oath in court that i was abuse raped both orally anally and violently by many men from the upper class’s
It is difficult to reconcile this with his claim about Edward Heath – the word “rape” might seem to offer a bit of wriggle room, but given his age in 1963 and his denunciation of the term “child prostitute” in the same post, we can be sure that by the word “rape” he means any oral sex, whether forced or not. The explanation, according to Tarraga, is that his encounter with Heath was insignificant.
Perhaps the various problems discussed above can be ironed out: in particular, it is possible that when Tarraga wrote that “my brother sister and myself lived there from 1952 untill1960”, he meant “my brother, sister and myself between us lived there from 1952 to 1960″ – i.e. an overall total in which three people overlapped. After all, his elder sister would probably have left before he did, due to being one or two years ahead. But if this is the explanation, why did Brees not address this issue raised by Waterhouse before the Private Eye article was published? If she held back for strategic reasons, so that an article would appear that she could then dispute, then she is the one responsible for the “distress” that Tarraga speaks about in his interview.
In his new video interview, Tarraga also laments the way that so much focus has been placed on his supposed encounter with Heath, and the prospect that he may be remembered simply as “Meat Rack Boy”, but these are the inevitable and obvious outcomes of Brees’s media strategy. It is unrealistic to accuse a former prime minister of sex abuse and not expect some critical scrutiny, and yet Brees appears not to have warned Tarraga that this would happen. Given Tarraga’s health and vulnerability, this is a failure of a duty of care.
There is a sense of manipulation in the video interview which becomes especially clear towards the end, as Brees invites Tarraga to denounce the BBC on an unrelated matter (4) and to praise Mark Watts, a journalist who promoted VIP abuse conspiracy theories on the Exaro website (5). It looks to me that Brees’s and Wedger’s interests being are served, rather than those of Tarraga.

(1) “It’a Brees”, in Private Eye 1492, p. 38.
(2) Wedger says he wants to raise £5,000 for his “Jon Wedger Foundation”. The figure is significant, as associations and trusts etc. in the UK with a “charitable purpose” and/or that exist “for the public benefit” must register with the Charity Commission if they have income that exceeds this amount. Wedger’s “foundation” is not a charity or even registered as a company at Companies House.
(3) “Bumbling Brees”, in Private Eye 1493, p. 13.
(4) The second Eye article also states that Brees had “stopped tweeting” about the book, and is instead “busily re-airing a five-year-old conspiracy theory that accuses the BBC of faking a Panorama report about the Syrian regime bombing a hospital”. New life was breathed into this old claim in February when a BBC journalist named Riam Dalati (who describes himself as “BBC Syria Producer”) suggested on Twitter that
After almost 6 months of investigations, i can prove without a doubt that the #Douma Hospital scene was staged. No fatalities occurred in the hospital. All the #WH, activists and people i spoke to are either in #Idlib or #EuphratesShield areas.
Rather than explain himself or present evidence, Dalati instead decided to lock down his account. However, it seems that he was suggesting that dead bodies had been moved and posed, rather than that people were “playing dead” or similar – he also Tweeted before this that “the ATTACK DID HAPPEN”, but that details were “manufactured for maximum effect”. This previous Tweet was ignored by the Russian Embassy and various “alternative media” bad actors, who instead created a distorted narrative in which Dalati supposedly “admitted” being involved with creating a fraudulent BBC report about a non-existent attack. Wedger has also joined in with this effort, which Brees is also linking with Tommy Robinson’s grievance against the BBC.
According to her book Making the News, as quoted in the Eye, Brees says that her children “never watch these channels [BBC and ITV]… They talk about the Illuminati in the playground and discuss end of the world theories”.
(5) Watts is of the view that the Lambeth letter means that Private Eye magazine should provide Tarraga with “a GROVELLING apology”. Watts recently met Wedger in London while both were observing the Independent Inquiry into Child Sexual Abuse, and he has his own grudge against Private Eye: the latest issue also carries an article identifying him as the unnamed journalist recently criticised by the inquiry lead counsel for publishing embargoed information (“Watts ‘n’ All”, Private Eye 1493, p. 11)

From recollection in one of Tarraga’s video interviews he states that nothing happened with Heath but now it seems there is mention of oral sex.
I also note that Brees has published the first couple of pages on Facebook of her new book starting with a chapter on Jon Wedger.
He said there was nude swimming, touching etc, but not the heavy abuse he had been having before from others.
It is disingenuous to suggest that Edward Heath was only ‘aboard’ after he bought his first boat. Heath was always messing about in boats, other peoples boats.
I met several men in the 1980s who were surprised to see one of the men who took them nude swimming, as teenagers, on board boats, in the 1960s/70s on the Norfolk Broads, had become PM.
Tarraga had been abused badly, and as he said, there was no abuse, as he understood it, from Heath, just nude swimming and drying him with a towel, touching etc which was considered ‘normal’ in those days.
Pin Mill does ring a bell, as officers from the nearby Boys Naval Base HMS Ganges used to take 15 and 16-year-olds there for sailing and nude swimming.Pin mill may be a memorable name, but how did Tarraga, or Wedger come up with it? Very few people would know unless they lived there, had been a Ganges Boy, had been to one of the two private boarding schools near there, Royal Hospital School, or Woolverstone Hall school?
Brian Coleman, the Conservative Party London Assembly member for Barnet and Camden, claimed in 2007 that Heath, in order to protect his career, had stopped cottaging in the 1950s.
Police said that if Heath were still alive they would have interviewed him under caution in relation to seven out of the 42 allegations.
The Private Eye piece adds even more credence to Tarraga’s claims. He was given ‘half a crown to go to Pin Mill, which is the return price of the ferry from Harwich to Shotley Gate.
We know that Heath did not just take up sailing late in life, he was always sailing on other peoples boats. So as well as the Norfolk Broads, he could well have been sailing at Pin Mill, and would have found out about it through his Naval friends in government.
That leads us to another possibility, he he carried on sailing there, maybe he knew something about the ‘Suitcase murder’ still unsolved 50 years on.
The dismembered body of a teenage boy was discovered in two suitcases at Tattingstone, very near Pin Mill in January 1967.
“That leads us to another possibility, he he carried on sailing there, maybe he knew something about the ‘Suitcase murder’ still unsolved 50 years on.”
You are really stretching here.
Just on a small point of information, Woolverstone Hall was not a “private boarding school” but an out-of-county residential grammar school run by the Inner London Education Authority.
Yes I know ex-pupils from there.
@steve – an amazing compilation of rumors!
Heath was always messing about in other people’s boats of course, but you offer no evidence such as photos of him on someone else’s boat.
You know men who were taken nude swimming by Heath as teens, no proof they exist, that you know them, that Heath really took them nude swimming.
Someone claims Heath “stopped cottaging”, which of course does not prove he ever did engage in that behaviour. If I claimed you stopped murdering puppies at 17, there would be – surprisingly! – no evidence that you ever murdered puppies!
Interesting the statement that Heath would have been “interviewed under caution” for allegations made only after he was dead! No proof or documentation for those, just ‘credible’ testimony., i.e. rumor.
Standard practice for rumors like these, is to now demand that I prove they are not facts.
Justin, you beat me to it! I’m not aware of Ted ever frequenting the Norfolk Broads …. Broadstairs, yes, but the Broads, NO! Steve, I think your friends may have mistaken the identity of their alleged abuser. How did they or you get on with the Police when they/you submitted the report against Heath? When did they/you do so? Put up or shut up, but please don’t peddle innuendo.
There were quite a few people named Edward Heath around at the time …. the band leader for one and also the Chelsea/Charlton coach who, it has been acknowledged, did abuse children. I’m sure that there were many individuals called Edward Heath alive in the 60s and 70s, some of whom may have been paedophiles. Chugging around the Norfolk Broads on a cruiser is hardly akin to sailing a dinghy, let alone an ocean racing yacht and not Heath’s style at all.
This is a very weak and pathetic third party allegation, on your part. We can all make false claims about anyone we don’t like, without issue, as long as they are dead.
As for claiming that Heath had a link to a murder, Heath is no more likely to have had any involvement in this than David Icke or, indeed, you, even if you weren’t born at the time.
I’ve heard gossip about all sorts of people over the years, most recently regarding the #VIPaedophile conspiracy theorists who seem to be tied up with convicted frauds, hoaxers and other unsavoury types, all of whom appear to have a strongly anti-Europe agenda.
In a perfect world, wouldn’t it have been good if someone had implied that the man who took us into Europe was blackmailed because he was a paedophile? Oops, just realised, Michael Shrimpton, the former barrister, convicted hoaxer and convicted paedophile did just that …. because Ted Heath’s best friend annihilated him at the 1989 European elections and Shrimpton, the extremist-Europobe, never got over that slight.
We can all make fictitious claims about all kinds of things. Personally, I choose not to as I really couldn’t wrestle with my conscience in so doing.
@Nuagedumatin
I didn’t realise that Shrimpton had lost to a friend of Heath’s way back in 1989, that may indeed be the source of his monomania, as you indicate. The whole idea that Heath would have been needed to be blackmailed into bringing Britain into the EU or Common Market as it was then is of course absurd. Heath was a committed Europhile, he didn’t require any inducement or threats to be such. Eurosceptics have a valid grievance in relation to the manner in which the referendum in 1974 took place on post-hoc basis – but for them to slander Heath as a child abuser as part of their agenda against the EU, is as you say, unconscionable.
@Nuagedumatin – there certainly have been many rumors and fictitious claims circulated around the UK in recent years.
Not all of those who circulated these falsehoods were fundamentally “bad” people like “Nick”. Some were undoubtedly fundamentally “good” people who sincerely believed their fictions served to support some historic child victim.
The reality is, however, that such fictions rob real victims of their own ‘voice’ – by creating competing false/ fraudulent narratives.
Anthony Daly has done this with his “Playland”. Amazon reviews for his book document that people who are new to the Playland scandals have bypassed the personal narratives of real Playland victims recorded elsewhere, in favor of his book – and his story is NOT their story.
The experience of real historic victims from Irish care homes, documented in the Hughes Inquiry report, has been forever buried under rumors and false narratives about VIP exploitation of those residents.
You do not learn to sail in ocean going yachts. Ted learned on sailing yachts on the Norfolk Broads.
It was popular with single men, who often had a deck boys who would swab the decks down wearing only a towel around the waist.
There are more sailing yachts on the broads than cruisers. Obviously you know very little about sailing, or Ted Heaths life.
Steve, was your comment “you know very little about sailing, or Ted Heath’s [sic] life” aimed at me?
I would venture to differ with your opinion. Ted Heath learned to sail on dinghies at Broadstairs, not on yachts on the Norfolk Broads.
Pray tell, when was Ted allegedly bobbing about on the Norfolk Broads …. dates, no matter how random, would be helpful.
@Nuagedumatin Are you writing a book then. I know someone who is writing a book about Heath, he has witnesses.
Heath was taking summer breaks on the Norfolk Broads in 1935 and 1936. I think he had visited there while at school with a friend as well. He was also visiting there in the summers from 1960 to 1965.
After that he seems to have moved into sea sailing.
^
Remember Exaro’s media event that had security procedures more akin to a conference for intelligence operatives? Thought it was a bit odd, that.
“…all of whom appear to have a strongly anti-Europe agenda…”
I’m surprised more isn’t made of this to be honest, though I’d perhaps describe it more as ‘anti-British institutions’.
Thank God they weren’t able to undermine those most-loved/begrudgingly-accepted institutions – the NHS, BBC, Parliament & Royal Family – by convincing people that all of the above had turned a blind eye to (or actively engaged in) horrific abuse carried out by a satanic necophiliac paedophile!
If that had have happened a fair portion of the populace would now be susceptible to all manner of malignant manipulation & Timmy Robinson et al would be seeing their followings bloom…

Steve’s balderdash is correctly called for what it is. It’s outrageous and a disgrace when these merchants of fiction dilute the very real matter of abuse with their prejudicial rubbish. The other great fantasy promoted is that people like Heath were untouchable which is simply not true. Britain’s police at the time were largely working class and loved nothing more than taking down Conservative politicians, pop stars and big names and did it with relish as history shows. Unfortunately today’s fantasy merchants are too young to know what happened in the 50’s, 60″s and 70’s because they live life through the internet where lies flourish and proof is absent.
“Unfortunately today’s fantasy merchants are too young to know what happened in the 50’s, 60″s and 70’s because they live life through the internet where lies flourish and proof is absent.”
Sammy, while I agree with most of your post, quite a few of them are old enough to know better…these three peddlers of tall tales, for example, are all middle-aged:
@ciabaudo
@reeves3915
@Sunnyclaribel
Heath cannot be investigated now as he is dead, but there is a little matter of ‘history’. Most older, lower middle-class individuals see the world in Victorian/Edwardian terms. Confirmed bachelors, old maids, still thought of by these older naive people as asexual, or just having bad luck.
Married men with children, could not possibly be homosexual, except perhaps Oscar Wilde. Baden Powell who had a collection of naked photos of boys, and, like the artist Tuke, spent many a weekend on Captain Wheatly Cobb’s old warship where boys were very much on display. Wheatley Cobb had to move his ship several times because of complaints from parents about his treatment of the boys he ‘trained’ on board.
Heath couldn’t marry the girl of his dreams, and became a confirmed bachelor, like Patrick Moore’s account of his ‘girlfriend’ being killed by an air-raid on London turning him into a confirmed bachelor. Researchers have been unable to identify the so called Lorna, despite the meticulous records kept of wartime civilian casualties in London.
Montgomery, who wrote letter to a teenage boy, and bathed him while on leave, is of course just a straight normal man. So as a matter of history we must not look at Heath in the same eyes as these elderly, lower middle-class prudes, but as intelligent people who sift through the facts and see that the girlfriend story was just a lie to cover himself. The truth will come out through the mist eventually, despite the attempts to suppress it.
Steve
You intimate that I am old and lower-middle class because I do not believe Heath to have been a paedophile, yet you yourself write with the quaint terminology of Quentin Crisp, combined with a touch of Terry Stokes’ sensationalism.
I can assure you that I am neither old nor do I believe in social class having any bearing on the acceptance or not of other people’s sexual preferences. I am not writing a book as I have better things to do with my time.
I’m sure that the world can’t wait for the publication of your friend’s tome on “Ted’s Adventures on the Norfolk zbroads”. I’m not sure it’s worth the time they are investing as his reputation has already been trashed by another bunch of fantasists.
Heath didn’t have time to go anywhere near Norfolk during the summers of 1960-65, dear heart … perhaps you’re mistaking the politician for the band leader or the football coach?
@Nuagedumatin You have no idea what Heath was doing during the summers of 1960-65, otherwise you would have said.
Sailing is not a hobby that is taken up in middle age, it is a lifelong passion. You, being that old, lower middle-class being, are thinking of ‘golf’.
I’m sure that Richard would not appreciate me downloading the endless entries in Heath’s Foreign Office and DoT official diaries on this page.
Were you, personally, responsible for the “Van Estoril naar Zandvoort” page of Kleintje Muurkrant, or was that another colleague? Did Janet change the name from Eddy, the Dutch spelling, to Eddie, the English version? The “Uncle Eddie” running wild on Hampstead Heath was one of your more original claims.
I’m neither classist nor ageist and I’m not sure why you are so obsessed with both, but that’s your problem, not mine.
Your glasswork is beautiful, if it is you who makes it.
Stay tuned!
@Nuagedumatin
Complete waffle from you, as I suspected. That is the reason why people like you think that sailing is like golf, a pastime taken up in middle age.
Steve, why did you previously use the name David, when for example commenting on the Anna Raccoon blog?
Also known as duddenhallapproveds, amongst other names.
@tdf
Probably suffering from DID …. David may be alter.
There was something in one of Steve’s comments on another post which triggered my memory. He mentioned “stained glass”. You may find that random, but one of the guys involved with Kleintje Muurkrant runs a stained glass studio.
For those not in the know, the blog I mentioned above was the first to name Ted Heath as “Uncle Eddy” and make mention of Hampstead Heath. There was an article by the infamous “T. Stokes” published a week later using much of the substance of that article, although someone had kindly translated it from Dutch to English. This is a reference which has been exploited to the hilt by James Reeves and, consequently, Wedger who foraged in the undergrowth behind Jack Straw’s Castle.
Just by chance, I came across an article in the “The People”, dated 1st September 1968, entitled “The sick men of Hampstead Heath”, written by Peter Forbes and a “squad of ‘People’ reporters”. This expresses the horror of the locals in Hampstead that, subsequent to the legalisation of homosexuality in 1967, the area behind Jack Straw’s Castle had been invaded by gay men wearing white polo-necks … one of the men interviewed stated that “i can’t understand why people like you are interested. We can’t do any harm and we keep ourselves to ourselves. Only old queens and gay boys come in here. We aren’t chasing young boys. None come here anyway.” That rather pricks the balloon that forms Mr Reeves’ claim.
Moving on, it is quite clear to anyone who has read Heath’s autobiography, together with the biographies of Campbell and Ziegler (who didn’t like Heath and would not be one to defend him), that Heath most definitely did not take up sailing until 1965, although he had pottered about on a boat in Brittany with Madron Seligman (Shrimpton’s arch-nemesis) earlier that decade.
Heath claimed not to have thrown any papers away after the age of 14/15. It’s true. The Bodleian Library holds most of the papers, but the National Archives at Kew hold all of his Ministerial diaries, which enlighten us as to his appointments with his barber (it was always Edward at Grosvenor House in the 70s/80s).
Steve’s claims that I can’t possibly know what Heath was doing 1960-65 are wrongly founded.
I note that Ann Brees is now claiming on Twitter that Tarraga was 14 when Heath abused him. Given that Tarraga was born in October 1949 and alleged that Heath abused him during the Easter or Summer holidays, that makes life so much more easy. Tarraga would have turned 14 in October 1963, which takes us a long way from the original claims made by Tarraga, Wedger and Brees that the abuse happened in 1962, particularly given that Tarraga did not arrive in Essex until the very end of July 1963.
Thankfully, dear Ted was supremely busy in 1964, enjoying a two week trip to Morocco over the Easter holidays and then a mad schedule of events during the Summer, including trips to Madrid and Barcelona.
Heath was a rising star at the time and was very close to both Macmillan and Home. Anything remotely dodgy in his behaviour would have been exploited by not only the Opposition, under Wilson, but his fellow Conservatives. To appoint a bachelor as Leader of the Conservatives was shocking enough at the time, let alone one about whom there might have been a whiff of scandal.
Sorry, bit of a diatribe, but I am so incredibly angry that a man who gave his life to and for his country and was prepared to be maligned and criticised for sticking to his “One Nation” principles, should now have his reputation totally trashed by people who have used him as a skittle in their pathetic game to undermine democracy, abusing real victims of CSA in the process.
I am truly thankful that there are people like Richard, Bandini, TDF, et al, who recognise the “bigger picture”.
Steve, it’s not a game. Victims of child abuse matter, their past experiences should be recognised and they should receive appropriate compensation for their suffering. People like you, who undermine the real victims, are like excrement on the foot of mankind.
People who use and abuse CSA victims for their own political ends really are the true swamp dwellers.
@Nuagedumatin
Thanks. I thought I was ‘in the know’ but I guess not! I do remember chancing on the strange allegations made by the strange T Stokes but I was previously unaware of Kleintje Muurkrant and was initially puzzled at your reference above.
I’m afraid in accepting the compliment I have to point out it is not entirely deserved in my case, as I was at some point a believer. My initial reaction when it finally dawned I’d been conned was annoyance at myself. Now I feel a cold anger at the people who, as you rightly say, undermine the narratives of the real victims/survivors.
It is people like you, Richard, Bandini, TDF, (whoever they are in real life),who are using CSA victims for your own political ends.it is you s who are the true swamp dwellers. No one takes up sailing in middle age, and if they do, they do not lean at sea, in ocean going yachts.
however a two week trip to Morocco over the Easter holidays sounds right, many men went there to have sex with rent boys, it was cheap and safe, Brian Sewell was one, and well as members of the Carry On cast, with Joe Orton. Schoolboys were available during their lunch breaks from school, as well as in the evening. Maybe heath took a few of them out sailing while he was there?
I don’t think that a few days in Norfolk would be in his diary, do you? We know that Heath was warned to give up cottaging, and had some involvement with PIE. You are the old people who are over complicating this with unknown names like Kleintje Muurkrant, Stokes etc whoever that are,or do you have some real information? Did Heath have a ‘girlfriend’,hidden away somewhere?
Were his sailing trips with young men just a ploy, was there always a dolly bird hidden below decks?
“No one takes up sailing in middle age.”
Don’t see why not, people take up motor-biking in middle age.
“We know that Heath was warned to give up cottaging, and had some involvement with PIE.”
No, we don’t know that Heath was warned to give up cottaging. Such a claim was made, yes, but we have seen no proof or validation.
We do know pretty much beyond a shadow of a doubt that Heath had no involvement whatever in PIE. The person who alleged that he did was in front of the IICSA recently and failed to produce any proof of his remarkable allegations.
Is Molly Parkin well? Perhaps you’ll enjoy this:
The allegation that Heath was involved with P.I.E. was of course dreamt up by this clown:
https://barthsnotes.com/2016/11/27/police-probing-recovered-memories-of-satanic-ritual-abuse-involving-former-prime-minister-edward-heath/#comment-1796703
@Bandini, Was she the woman accuser, “Lucy X”, then?
I heard about @Nick’ but it was not him who said that Heath sat in on several PIE meetings.
The clown I was referring to was Don Hale.
1961: Heath allegedly raped and indecently assaulted an 11-year-old boy during a paid sexual encounter in a private dwelling. London.
1962: Heath in the company of an unknown male allegedly indecently assaulted a 10-year-old boy during a chance encounter in a public place. Kent.
1964: Heath allegedly indecently assaulted a 15-year-old male during three paid sexual encounters. Sussex and London.
1967: Heath allegedly indecently assaulted a 15-year-old male not known to him in private during a chance encounter in a public building. Guernsey.
1976: Heath allegedly indecently assaulted over clothing an adult male during a chance encounter at a public event. Jersey.
1992: Heath allegedly indecently assaulted an adult male after consent was withdrawn in what had been a paid consensual sexual encounter in a hotel. Wiltshire.
Edward Heath PIE No 77 https://assets.publishing.service.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/372933/Annex_I_-_114_file_schedule.pdf
Steve/David/Approveds, there is no reference to ‘Edward Heath PIE No 77’ in that document, as you perfectly well.
@tdf-tedious/demented/fool. It was a file on file on Edward Heath re- P.I.E.
@tdf-tedious/demented/fool You would not know anything about ‘false claims’.
You run the 735 group, a nest of bitter, twisted, ageing queens who pontificate on subjects they know very little about.
Do I get a salary for running this club? Could do with the cash money.
Seriously Steve, err David, err Duddenhall, you really need to get a new hobby. Instead of spending year obsessing over fictional paedophile rings why not try train spotting or stamp collecting or… or…even sailing..or something instead?
Anon, are you part of the 3-5-7 club, of which apparently I’m the president? 2019 membership subs due immediately! Pay up!
@Steve/David/Approvededs on the strength of the argument you have put forward above regarding Heath’s involvement with PIE, are you suggesting that all of these people were also involved, as their correspondence with the Minister is identically appended:
John Habgood, Archbishop of York
Jeff Rooker MP (L)*
Richard Holt MP (C)
Ian Wrigglesworth MP (LD)*
Robert Sheldon MP (L)*
Peter Lloyd MP (C)*
Those whose names are followed by asterisks are still alive – perhaps you should be pursuing them, rather than the dead?
With a totally redacted Twitter account perhaps WE should be pursuing HIM?
I bagged first dibs on stake-out duties, and while there’s still no sign of our fruity foe some VIPs were just spotted withdrawing slowly from Moll’s tradesman’s entrance.
Send backup/sandwiches. OAO
@Nuagedumatin/PIEsupporter They did not have government files about their interest in PIE.
@Steve. if you scroll through the link you posted, entries 78-82 are annotated in exactly the same way as 77. PQ means Parliamentary Question, MC denoted Ministerial Correspondence. This normally relates to something raised by a constituent that has been forwarded by the individual MP to the Minister for response. These files probably contained 2-3 letters each.
With regard to you addressing me a “PIE supporter”, I now understand why you are so age-obsessed – anyone over 18 would appear old to someone with such an infantile mentality. FWIW, I was not aware of the existence of PIE until it cropped up in the newspapers in relation to NCCL a few years ago.
Labelling someone a paedophile supporter is deeply insulting and, in my case, totally without foundation.
Genuine victims of child abuse have had their cause undermined by the huge surge in incredible allegations against VIPs. Long-term campaigners were displaced by sensationalists who conjured up fantastical tales for political gain. If you are one of the latter, shame on you!
@Nuagedumatin I did at first think that you were not sliding into second childhood like the others who post on here.
But then you started joining in with the same infantile mentality as the others, who I see are now showing signs of dementia.
Wasn’t this nonsense your work?
I seem to recall Martin’s brother being rather upset with you about it too.

Even better in the paper version:

You can actually see his big ‘clue’ (though you might feel like bathing afterwards).
Genuinely too angry to respond to Steve/Dave/Approveds or for that matter Hale’s rubbish.
What does OBE stand for, Offensive Bellendish Eejit?
@anon. That was written by Don Hale a journalist, about Martin Allen who disappeared in 1979. Don Hale and Kevin Allen, Martin’s brother are very good friends.
In fact Kevin has said that Don Hale is the only journalist he trusts. I am not a journalist, but it is flattering that you think I am.
@Bandini The BBC gave that photo to Kevin Allen, Martin’s brother. He then gave it to Don Hale as far as I know.
I do not happen to think that Edward Heath was involved in that.
@tdf-tedious/demented/fool Better take your medication old man. i expect the nurse will be round to put you to bed soon.
Regarding the BBC Panorama Syria report, it may be worth bearing in mind that that “long-standing contributor to Private Eye Magazine”, Victor Lewis-Smith, is onboard with the hoax theory and indeed is involved with the documentary that the crowdfunding effort Brees & Wedger are promoting would ultimately, if successful, lead to.
In other words, Brees & Wedger are most likely piggy-backing a ‘conspiracy theory’ that may prove to be significantly more credible than any of their own ludicrous efforts, in which case I’d be wary of giving them an inadvertent ‘boost’…
And massively off-topic, and I apologise in advance, but a subject covered here – esp. in the comments re Elm/VIPaedomania – has been included in my blog here:

“he also Tweeted before this that “the ATTACK DID HAPPEN”, but that details were “manufactured for maximum effect”. This previous Tweet was ignored by the Russian Embassy and various “alternative media” bad actors, who instead created a distorted narrative in which Dalati supposedly “admitted” being involved with creating a fraudulent BBC report about a non-existent attack.”
It’s a war zone.
Attacks happen.
The White Helmets and MSM report them as chemical weapons attacks on baybee incubators.
AN attack happening and a CHEMICAL WEAPON ATTACK on ickle baybees NOT happening is not only possible, it’s routine!
LOTS of paedophile defenders on here!
Just make sure you’re on the right side of history!
They are known on the internet as the 735 group.
Nice try, guys. Exposing false claims does not make one a paedophile defender. The opposite if anything.
As for the 735 group, Steve/David/Approveds, I’ve never heard of it. Are you sure it’s nothing something you dreamed up?
@a-nonce, another member of the 735 group of bitter, twisted, ageing queens who pontificate on subjects they know very little about.
I have never mentioned pedophile rings in my life, another invention of yours. You on the other hand never stop talking about them.
Perhaps you should take up another hobby now that your cruising days are over, and you have failed to keep any relationship

What a fascinating read!.
Correction:
Michael Shrimpton is not an “ex-Barrister” because he was NEVER a barrister. He has never held a barrister’s license and there are no records of him ever attending any law school in the UK or passing any legal exams.
He claimed his “degree” was from Italy and that allowed him to practice in the UK but alas, Italian legal authorities said they have never heard of him and have no records of him practicing law there.
Shrimpton is just another very clever con-man who must be very convincing as he even talked the convicted Jonathan King before his conviction into handling legal matters for him until King’s lawyer suggested that although Shrimpton was pretty good with the patter his legal knowledge was woefully lacking for a supposed barrister.
Who is that fool above ?( it’s me). All bollox of course- I confused Shrimpton with Giovanni Di Stefano. All these conspiracy merchants and fantasists all look the same. Hope it’s not senility setting in.
Yes I think Shrimpton was genuinely a barrister before he went loo-lah.
Somebody has now made a Wikipedia page for Tarraga, which seems to take him at face value.
